Southern Trinidad La Brea Pitch Lake

La Brea Pitch Lake is situated in the Southern part of Trinidad in the Village of La Brea , its full of natural nature and history . You will have qulified tour guides to show you around and tell you about this Natural Beauty.  This is where the Country gets its tar to help in the process of making asphalt for our Nation's roads. Pitch as it is offten called seems to keep replinishing its self over the years, it can be seen under houses in area that are close to the pitch lake.

Carnival 2011

Hi if you are intending to visit Trinidad & Tobago for the carnival season 2011 here are some of the things that you can do. There are carnival fetes/ party's that you can attend eg. Caribbean Brass Festival, Custom Boy fete, Army fete, All inclusive fetes, Calypso Competitions, Kiddies Carnival, Junior Calypso Competition, Steel band Competitions and lots more. You can also get your fresh Coconut Water & jelly around the Queen's Park Savanna. 

Caribbean Brass Festival  -    Its a Festival where you have Brass Bands from all over the Caribbean    performing at one venue from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

All Inclusive fetes/party -  Its where you will pay a sum of money to cover your eats and drinks while  you are at the venue

Kiddies Carnival  - Its where you have kids from 5yrs taking part in junior mass competitions

Steel band Competition - Its a competition where you have bands from all over the country taking part in competitions and then you have a national finals

Fetes - You go to different venues for each fete at different locations all over the country.
